Here’s what’s happening with our first five:
1. Dot Bach has joined as Academic Manager. This is a newly created role encompassing new programme development, academic excellence and quality assurance. Dot is also responsible for People, Culture and Wellbeing at Strategi. Dot joins us from Southern Institute of Technology, Te Pūkenga – where she held the roles of Business Enterprise Risk Chief and Acting Head of School of Creative Industries.
2. Quentin Williams has joined as Content Lead. This is a key role focussing on developing and implementing leading edge programme and CPD content. Quentin will also lead a new area of business for Strategi Institute which will help revolutionise the way qualifications can be granted for experienced practitioners. Details on this new service will be released in March 2024. Quentin joins us from Skills Consulting Group.
3. Consumer Credit (Micro-Credential) Level 5 course: This is the third micro-credential course launched by Strategi Institute. This course focusses on responsible learning for all those involved with CCCFA lending relating to personal loans. Lyn McMoran – CEO of the Financial Services Federation describes the Consumer Credit (Micro-Credential) Level 5 course as a game changer for the lending sector.
4. Additional government funding available: A new allocation of government funding is available from January 2024. For those eligible, it can reduce the cost of some programmes and delivery methods by up to 40%. More details are available here.
5. New website: A new website for Strategi Institute has been developed and is undergoing final testing. When you return from holiday, you will see a whole new website with a new user look and feel and expanded content and functionality.

The first six months of 2024 are action packed for Strategi Institute. Expect to see:
- More CPD content for a comprehensive learning experience.
- Introducing a fresh CPD guide tailored for 2024.
- Ability to enrol international students plus offering an innovative solution for large organisations seeking to engage a new group of financial advisers.
- Enhancements to existing micro-credentials.
- Launching a new micro-credential suitable for those with AML/CFT obligations.
- Revamped assessment methods for evaluating the competence, knowledge, and skill of experienced practitioners.
- Innovative opportunities for Strategi Institute learners and graduates to showcase their competence.
